I. Overview of injection molding machines
Injection molding machine is the main molding equipment to make thermoplastic or thermosetting plastics into various shapes of plastic products by plastic molding die. It is divided into vertical, horizontal and all-electric types. The injection molding machine can heat the plastic and apply high pressure to the molten plastic, so that it can be ejected to fill the mold cavity. Injection molding machine usually consists of injection system, clamping system, hydraulic transmission system, electrical control system, lubrication system, heating and cooling system, safety monitoring system and so on.
Second, the working principle of injection molding machine
Generally, the molding process of injection molding machine is as follows: firstly, granular or powdery plastic is added into the barrel, and the plastic becomes molten through the rotation of the screw and the heating of the outer wall of the barrel; then, the machine closes the mold and moves the injection seat forward, so that the nozzle is close to the sprue of the mold, and then pressurized oil is introduced into the injection cylinder to push the screw forward, so that the molten material is injected into the closed mold with low temperature at a high pressure and a high speed, and it is solidified and molded after a certain period of time and pressure maintenance (also called pressure maintenance) and cooling. There needs to be enough pressure and speed when injecting, and it is also a system that the injection molding machine consumes a lot of electricity.
Third, the characteristics of injection molding machine using site
In the traditional injection molding machine, a series of actions from the start of mold locking to the ejection of finished products are completed by hydraulic system. The pressure and flow generated by the cooperation of oil pump and different valves provide the driving force and moving speed required by oil cylinder and hydraulic motor.
When the traditional injection molding machine system is switched to the process flow that requires low flow, the power required by the system is actually very low. However, the motor always runs at 50Hz power frequency, and it cannot reduce its speed according to the actual demand, thus reducing the flow. Therefore, the excess hydraulic oil flows back to the oil tank through the relief valve, resulting in a waste of energy.
